The Transition
We fear it the most, yet enjoy the most,
None
wants to get stuck, and also drained.
Transition
is liberation that comes with cost,
This
antithesis of guarded and the chained.
Life
and death are perpetual and incessant,
These
crop up to switch us into another role.
Waning
and waxing, consistent and persistent,
Revamped
as parts; we are not the whole.
The
shining Sun and the magnificent Moon,
Work
in shifts; help us to revive and respite.
Exhausted
they fade, and to glory grow soon,
In
turn day and night, they inhibit and incite.
