Reviving life with hope and faith

An infant seen sucking dead mother’s breast,

For the world it is painful, but for him it is zest.

A mother feigning cooking in an empty bowl,

Hoping it will make her child sated and full.

The hope and the faith keep us moving in life,

Rife with pleasures or burdened with strife.

Even in the darkest night, keep the doors open,

Whether to believe or not, miracles still happen.

Even the usual phenomena are not less stunning,

The breaking of dawn and the stars rerunning.

Livelihood counts but the hope matters more,

While left in the lurch, while safe on the shore.
