Spirit - the Essence
The birth of every venture of ours
takes place in the setting of some conscious decision. The first step of our all
avowed and ostentatious crusades is always taken with the intention to achieve
something virtuous, whether tangible or intangible. The purpose of such
pursuits may be to enhance our own internal or external worth, to uplift our society, to shape our
nation or to serve the human race.
The other possibility of the spiritual journey coming to an end is when we develop a feeling of tiredness and turn disheartened. We console ourselves that wherever we have reached is the most that we have come to be identified with.
Once we end up with our aesthetic cruise, our zeal looses its aliveness. Hereafter our voyage is unconscious, inattentive and perfunctory. Even the activities, such as prayer, exercise and dining that we assume to keep our conscience, mind and body healthy, become casual, monotonous and soulless. As a result our dynamism gets converted into weariness.
And our spiritualism culminates into ritualism.

If The Soul - the essence is kept alive within, the spiritualism will never turn ritualistic
